    Oh wow!!!

Dan Snyder is the worst owner in the history of football. Doesn't that only drop the Rams down four spots?

Yep. And I really don't get trading with St Louis. Why didn't everyone just decide not to deal with STL?

I mean they have Bradford they clearly weren't drafting RG3, shoulda just waited until #3.

That's why the Skins are the Skins.

  • They will have no way of putting weapons around him. This has set RG3 up for failure in the worst way. I feel bad for him.

How do they intend to build around him?

Don't take this as defending Snyder in the least bit because he's horrible. For some reason I guess that he thinks if he has a franchise type qb that he could pull his typical FA BS and eventually it will work. Who the hell knows with this guy.

Where do the Jags draft Duval? I know that you probably want Blackmon in the worst way (no homo of course).

    I believe 7th overall

  • So the Rams do just as I predicted. Trade down for a robbery type deal. Now if they take Kendall Wright I will have been spot on!

Wright will be the top WR out of this draft, IMO.

I don't see Kalil falling to sixth so that leaves the Rams with Blackmon IMO. I could be wrong but looks like you are a pick behind what you guys really need.

At #6? I thought he had a not so great combine?

Yeah I can't see Kendall Wright going before Blackmon. That would be insane IYAM.

Blackmon will go before Wright. Blackmon reminds me a lot of Crabtree. A great college receiver, but lacks that speed to get open in the NFL. I hope he proves me wrong because I love watching him play.

I mean it was going to cost two first rounders but three? I probably wouldn't have gone past two first rounders and one third rounder and probably not two first rounders and a fourth rounder.

Wasn't his pro-day today? Does anyone know what he ran in the 40? I know the 40 time doesn't always prove much, especially with a good route runner and physical receiver like him but I'm still curious. He also seems a lot bigger than Crabtree.

He ran like a 4.45. Apparently the track in Stillwater is super fast and teams will adjust for that.

  • We will probably draft a Lineman on defense or offense, and try to get a skill player in the later rounds and through free agency.

If you went that route who would you want? I'm assuming your thinking Brocker, Reiff, Ingram or Coples. I honestly don't know much about what the Jags have on their lines and what you guys need most.

Crabtree: 214 lbs according to NFL.com
Blackmon: 215 at his pro-day (up 8lbs since the combine)

Blackmon is an eighth of an inch shorter than 6-1. Crabtree is listed at 6-1.

Blackmon's 40 time: 4.46, but it is expected to be changed to no worse than 4.53

    Damn

He just looked a lot bigger to me for some reason. It has been a couple of years since Crabtree went through the combine but Blackmon still looked bigger to me. I'm not saying your wrong because I had no idea. Crabtree just looks slimmer than Blackmon to me pretty significantly.

  • So many put way to much stock into combine numbers. Did you see Blackmon play this year? Dude was a fuggin beast.

It is looking like some mock drafts have us taking Reiff from Iowa now. I just hope we are able to snag one of these free agent receivers this year.

No offense, but a lot of receivers and QBs look good in the pass happy Big 12 or whatever the name of the conference is now.

Might be tough with Gabbert as your qb of the future. Money talks and BS walks though. I just don't think Jacksonville is the type of team that has the money to compete with other big market teams and a young unproven, qb to attract good free agent WR's. Maybe you can get someone that wants to be "the man" though.
