Former Miami coach Randy Shannon is suing his alma mater, saying the university decided to not pay him all that he was guaranteed in his final contract.

Ex-coach, former alum suing his alma mater is pretty profound, IYAM. Especially so, since Shannon might have actually helped Miami avoid a catastrophic hit from the NCAA Shapiro investigation.
Add the NCAA investigation to the propensity of a spurned coach to spill news of Shapiro at a much higher volume, and that's a mess.
Furthermore, if you look at the in-fighting among U alums right now (Sapp calling Shockey a snitch, and Vilma getting suspended for an entire season, along with a few others), Coral Gables isn't looking all that great right now.
Miami fans might need to board up on their house for the media hurricane that's hitting them.
