I feel the coaches poll is more biased and gives coaches an incentive to dishonestly fill out ballots, there have been reports of GAs filling out the polls and not the actual coaches, I feel that coaching college football is such a time intensive job that coaches aren't that familiar enough with teams outside of their conference/schedule compared to the press core whose entire profession revolves around more neutrally observing and reporting on teams across the nation(though some regional and other biases still exist).
