  • Alabama and LSU are 1a and 1b. Oklahoma3rd, Florida and Florida State would be 4 and five but they could be switched either way.

    Without Icebox, I slide Auburn's defense slightly ahead, unless of course the kid with the antacid tablets is playing NT.

    With Icebox, of course. She was the defense. I would love to see her take over for Holland next week. I also wonder if Gus knows "The annexation of Puerto Rico".

  • Based off what I have seen (which isn't a ton, since I am at every Bama game) I would say the list right now goes:

    1. LSU
    2. Alabama
    3. Oklahoma

    You failed to mention the two teams State rolled up 200 yards on were the #109 #116 ranked teams in rush defense.

    LSU has a damn fine defense but don't pat yourself on the back to hard.

  • We have 30 tackles for loss in 3 games.

    Held Oregon to 95 Yards Rushing
    Northwestern State to -4 yards
    Mississippi State to 52 yards

    Our numbers are tops in the country against way, way tougher teams than everyone. We also go to WVU Saturday.

    There is no doubt that LSU/Bama are 1a and 1b.. Both are championship defenses.

    Yes I was wasted last night, once Trickett came into the game I really started throwing them back

    It was truly embarrassing to be a Nole fan last night, getting really tired of always losing to good teams

    It's all good. You guys said numerous times before the season that next year would be your year. No one expected to beat OU before the season thast what FSU fans were saying.

    Next year, y'all know how good you'll be but yeah, losing sucks more than your dog dying.

  • UF leads the nation if rush defense giving up less than 30 yards a game. Teams average 1.2 rush yards agianst our front seven. We are second in the SEC, behind only LSU, in tackles for loss. Our front seven is as good as any in the nation. What seperates us, compared to UA and LSU is their DB's. LSU's DB's are even better than their front seven. They are unreal. Our DB's have two true freshman and two true sophs starting. Once they get experience, UF's D is as good as any. I'd say there is an argument for top 5 right now. We've had a top ten D nationally, for four straight years.
