Funny I've heard conflicting stories about McQuay. I've heard it's a Vandy/Oregon battle. I've read in the past couple of days that SC is probaly out because of Monte getting the boot and if he doesn't commit on his visit then they're done.
I heard FSU is out because he wants out of Florida. And I've read that Michigan was on the outside looking in on Vandy and Oregon. Vandy has the academics and Oregon has the football and after his visit to the UO, he was told that they are setting up a music production class specificly for him and he raved about how Oregon was so much more tech. advanced then all of the other schools.
Not sure if he was refering to the facilities or the academic center, but he and his Pop loved Oregon. I've also read that LMIII is not into producing bubblegum, pop music. He actually has real taste in music so Eugene and Portland could plug him into a real music scene, not pop crap.
Vandy worries me because of the music affiliations. Not sure how Ann Arbors music scene is. Who knows? Just what I've read. He very well could end up at UM, but I have definitely heard conflicting stories to what you've heard.

Personally, I'd prefer Alvin Kamara over Tenpenny. Kamara provides more versatility [especially as a pass catching threat] and he produces more against better competition.
Kamara is over 2,000 yards rushing and approaching 30 TDs this season in Georgia's largest class as he leads 14-0 Norcross into the 6A Championship Game next weekend.

I dont think anyone is going to know with McQuay until he commits and enrolls. FWIW i've heard its basically USC Vandy and FSU with us in 3rd but his dad wants him close to home and that has kept us and will keep us in it till the end.
There does seem to be all kinds of different stories with him though

I agree. It seems like I've read every school on his list has been his leader at one point in the past two weeks so I was going on tbe most current news. One thing I haven't read is that Michigan is his leader, but Maize&Blue said that the Wolvs are on top. Who knows with this kid? He's taking a visit to SC this weekend possibly or maybe next weekend and I bet the rumors of SC being his #1 again start swirling. Recruing is such a soap opera!!!!
