Redfield back on the market

Mission Viejo (Calif.) four-star safety Max Redfield said he is no longer committed to USC and has opened up his recruitment.

  • I don't see SC remaining in the picture. I bet McQuay or Willis were contacted. Justin where does he end up ND or Oregon?

  • If not USC, then I hope ND.

U-Dub would be sick with him and Thompson together.

  • Could Redfield be the beginning of an unraveling of this class? A lot of talent, all guys that want to play for a National Championship as well as go pro. There has to be significant pressure on Kiffin at this time. You don't get a top 3 preseason rating, followed by loses to mediocre teams, have discipline issues, then give up 730 yards offense, 62 points and lose at home without consequences. There's even potential for UCLA to be the best team in LA. Ducks keep winning they will fill the remainder of their 2013 class with top players, possibly including Redfield and ........

  • Well that killed whatever long shot we had at McQuay.

  • The timing makes it seem like it would favor ND. However, I see him staying West. If he trips to Oregon I think that would seal the deal. Hopefully UO can get him up for the Stanford game.

How many players do you send to the NFL? I don't think you want to compare the stats....USC has sent more players to the NFL in our down years, than the floats have in their "championship" years.

Half our class will be EE, and judging by the tweets out there now, more than a few are saying..."next!"

Yes, we gave up 62 points, and your vaulted defense.."the best we've ever had" gave up 51. I wouldn't boast about that one Donald...

USC just got their ass beat, but you hold on to those NFL stats while we keep winning..

We put up the most points and yards ever against USC, swallow those stats.

And that awful defensive USC team laid 51 points on you. We weren't the only ones exposed, float, the top teams are licking their chops to match up with you in a bowl game. Alabama will kill you and ground those little pretty costumes into the turf, better pray you don't end up facing them in Miami, but with that crap schedule, you probably won't.

Keep winning? The PAC? LOL, yeah, how much respect does that get you when you lose to everyone else outside the conference?

You know who was at the game yesterday? Scouts from The Alamo Bowl, enjoy mediocrity!

Feels good being the top dawg in the conference, would you play me a nice song on that second fiddle?

You said it..top dog in the conference, but unlike USC, you win crap out of it..or in bowl games, where you are exposed further.

floats: 25 bowl games, 10 wins
USC: 48 bowl games, 32 wins

    See a pattern?

He really is. Don't know if you know this but Zabba was a hell of a MLB at UW.

Sucks he got that knee injury but he dominated on that '91 purple reign team.

We are closing in on a 4th consecutive PAC title. We have beat you 3 out of the last 4. We have even beat you 8 of the last 13.

Apparently, all you got left is calling us "floats"......

We respect your tradition. About time you respect what we have accomplished on the field without all your 5-star recruits.

USC arrogance is getting about as old as that mausoleum you call a stadium.....
