I was happy/shocked to hear about this when it first came to light. Never thought Votto would stick around knowing he was get a huge payday from everyone. Way to be Castellini.

??? The yanks are locked up with Tex for I believe another 5-6 years while the Angels just signed Pujols.

I think Votto is a heck of a player and if Prince got similar money he deserves it too. Problem for me its the Reds giving it to him and it will likely tie up around 20%- 25% of the payroll. Especially with no DH spot to slide into. Adrian Gonzelez looks more and more like a bargin at 7 years and 154.
