lol, good point. But for us, Mike Dubose to Dennis Franchonie to Mike Price to MIke Shula is a period we would all like to forget. Unfortunately for me, they were my years at UA and I got to see us lose to Northern Illinois, Hawaii, and AU every year but one. The highlight of my bowl game experience as a student was almost beating Minnesota in the Music City Bowl.

Yeah, when my AU friends asked me what I thought of the Gus hire my answer was pretty much that I think he is a good coach and has a good football mind but if I were an AU fan I'd be pissed. I'd be pissed because I would have wanted a total change in the AD and a fresh start. Whether or not he is a good coach, I don't think he will be able to be successful because there are too many people manipulating things over there.

Peanut Whitehead went to Louisville because of grades. He was all Auburn but he couldn't qualify. He was also a bust in college due to injury. Not saying Whitt isn't a good coach but I don't know about the recruiting ace thing.
