Reuben's high school coach has already said he is not going to A&M becuase it is too far from home. The family is poor and his mother his transportation issues. That is one reason he stayed close to home in the first place

So his family is poor, but he they were able to move across the state and enroll in a high school in auburn with no "help"

Do you ever get anything right? His family originally lived in LaGrange, Georgia which is like maybe 30 or 40 minutes away from. Auburn. That is a lot different than driving to College Station, Texas which is probably 10, 12, or 14 hours away

You are the one saying his family is poor, but they moved out of their old house to go to school in another state. Now you are getting mad like you always do when someone calls auburn dirty.

I am glad you agree. After all, I believe you are the same guy who started a thread about the SEC playing a weak non conference schedule two or three days before Florida stomped your team. Georgia stomped Georgia Tech, and South Carolina stomped Clemson. One of the biggest fail threads I have seen on this board since I have been here

Uh, no. What did Bama average on the ground that game? Im too lazy to look it up, but I remember up being over 5 ypc. Just because Alabama decides to get pass happy (which also happened against LSU) doesn't mean a team stopped the run.

The only person that stopped our running game all year was us when we abandoned the run against LSU & TAMU. The proof is in the averages per carry.

I don't give a rat's ass about he downvote, but what I said is an absolute fact. No one has stopped our running game all year when we've committed to it. Look up the numbers.

  • Its funny how good Rueben is when he is committed to you but how fat and lazy and straight horrible he is when he dont wanna be with ya anymore. He was gonna be starting for bama next year until he decommitted and now he would be on the scout team till his senior year. Auburn wanted him not only to be their best player but head coach as well and now he aint the best player on his high school team.

Come on now. Everybody knows hes a beast thats why everybody gets so mad when he dont choose them. He's passed on us twice and we have his best friend but i can still sit here and say he's probably the best LB to come out in 5 years if not longer.

Yes I posted an article about the SEC playing a soft OOC schedule, and I thought that the ACC would go at least 2-2 against the SEC. I was wrong, but big deal. It is not like your sorry azz Auburn Tigers beat one those teams since you lost to one those same sorry teams you talk about in Clemson what two years in a row in blowout fashion.

It is a big deal. You say the SEC needs to improve their non conference schedule but your shit team has lost to Florida something like 7 out of the last 9 years. That is pretty funny

You are also 4-13 against Auburn all time. That is even funnier

Yeah lets use records from the 70s and 80s, because last time I checked Auburn paid their way out of getting their azz handed to them by FSU 1999. Also since 1976(Bowdens first year) we are 19-18-1 against the Gators, and that includes Bowdens last years where the gators had to win 6 in a row just to get back on top.

He's right about Malfunction Moore being a joke of an AD and having been friends with Logan Young and was quite possibly standing on the same street that Simeon Castille was arrested for yelling in.

Auburn fans talking about someone's AD being a joke. That's the hardest I've laughed since the Iron Bowl.

Alabama's only defending their National Titles in 4 different sports this year. Enjoy Jay Jacobs. He has Auburn really going places. Football team gets their entire Christmas break, basketball teams don't have to worry about anything getting in the way of their spring break, and the spring sports don't have to play into the summer during postseason play.

    Rueben Foster Junior stats:

    185 tackles, 145 solo tackles, 34 TFL, 18 sacks

    Rueben Foster Senior stats:

    80 tackles, 9 TFL, 5 sacks, 1 FF

I thought he was incredible watching his Jr highlights but I watched 2 games this year and he wasn't even in the same league as he was the year before. He is definitely carry too much weight and lacks the explosiveness he showed his Jr season. Those are just facts whether you decide to believe it or not. The overall feeling is he simply ties the easy path and isn't willing to work for it. The difference between being alright and being great is work ethic. Kid is talented but there are plenty of talented kids out there.

The player I watched against Carver is not only the best LB in the last 5 years, he isn't even the best LB in the current class.

Sorry, but even bammerS used to think Malfunction was a joke before he stumbled onto Saban. It didnt exactly take a genius to know Saban was a pretty good coach considering he had already won a national title and two SEC titles at LSU

    aubie25

  • Oh yeah, Jay Jacobs defenders could point out that Auburn has won more national championships than any SEC school since he has been the athletic director and we have the 3rd or 4th most SEC championships during that time. This includes all sports.

However I still think he sucks because the major sports have been inconsistent at best and Auburn has a ton of money to hire coaches and build facilities. They should have some success unless the athletic director is completely brain dead. You could say the same thing for bammer

He still hired the man. If it was that easy, Auburn wouldn't have even called Chizik and no way Gus gets as much of a courtesy call.

Over $200 million into the athletic facilities all from private donations with 0 coming from floating bonds, using tax payer dollars, or touching operations budgets. Not a ton of Universities out there that could accomplish that.

Equestrian and swimming events don't quite bring in the $$.

Our softball team sells more tickets in one weekend than both of those sports combined.

Swimming is going downhill now as well though at Auburn.

There is a big difference in RF's size and play from when he was committed to us (Junior) and now. He looks terrible physically and his stats aren't even close. That's why we say he's fat and lazy. He has been since he moved to Auburn High School. Oh and.....lol at Bama taking Georgia's best shot at a National Title and crushing their dreams.

What are you talking about? Saban had been pretty much mediocre at the Dolphins anyway. If he wasnt looking to leave, he was certainly open to the idea

As far facilities go, bammers facilities in both basketball and baseball are probably still inferior to Auburn and at least half the schools in the SEC.

He's exactly the type of player Auburn has signed over the last 3 years and failed miserably. He committed to an Auburn where it was more important to have fun than have self discipline and a process. Losing him and that mentality is the first step into Auburns return to good football. He's also fat and lazy so beyond all that other stuff, be glad he's gone.

For Auburn it is going to be addition by subtraction this year in recruiting. They likely will not sign a top 10 class, but will get more out of the players they sign than they have in their highly rated classes.
