It doesn’t fit, with the whole Pro-Life Doctrine? God should chose who live and dies and not man? I’m Pro-Death penalty myself, but it seems like it is always the Christian right who fights the issue.

Well, in my experience it is the liberals who are against taking a life through the Death Penalty but they are for taking a life through abortion.

I have heard some resistance from some who don’t believe that people who could have committed there crimes due to insanity deserve to die from them. Which I guess I could understand. But most of time, those people are beyond the point of rehabilitation and are better off dead.

  • I work hard for my money, didn't major in art history, don't look for handouts. So yea, I guess that would make me conservative.

Not every murderer should be given the death penalty, some can be rehabilitated. Others can't be rehabilitated and should be given the death penalty. The heinousness of the crime should also be considered obviously.

I'm pro-choice because I think it's wrong to force any woman to tell her what she should do with her own body. I also don't believe that a fertilized egg is a human yet and therefore there's no reason abortion should be considered wrong.

Post in here, or anyone opposed to liberals.

    I have a question.

How would you all feel if Obama signed a treaty with the terrorists that stated that the US was not a Christian nation, was not founded on Christian principles, and the Christianity had no bearing on our politics, in order to appease them and save American lives?

    Would you support this?

A crap load of grey area in your death penalty stance.

At what point is the child inside the womb, a human?

^^^^^All of that rehabilitation at tax payers expense ladies and gentlemen. Liberalism at its finest. Murderers get life without parole in the majority of the cases. What good does rehabilitation do? Will they be nicer to the prison guards?

I guess they could be considered terrorist since today's terrorist hijack planes and pirates hijack ships. Either way, it was a treaty for appeasment of Muslims so they wouldnt attack us or our ships.

But you are dodging the question because you already see the hipocracy. If Obama took a play from the FF's playbook(something that most conservatives say they want to see) and used it today, would you support it?

Would he be called a Muslim by conservatives? Would conservatives trust the move more if made by a white man?

Most pro-life people will say at conception but most of them take some form of birth control. Birth control is not a goalie that deflects sperm. The egg can still become fertilized but BC will then kill it.

So, most people that use BC have unknowingly killed a fetus after conception. (It would have only been convieved for a few minutes but it was still concieved

It's my understanding that most birth controls keep women from producing eggs? At least according to this.....

I'm not sure. I've always heard that birth control stopped women from producing eggs. Also, theres a bunch of different both controls that stop women from having their cycle all together. My wife was on some before our 1st child and didn't have a cycle for 6 years.

I was just basing my statement off what my wife uses and how it works. I thought she said most BC worked this way but maybe I misunderstood her.

    Glad I'm a man!

So am I. My wife has been in the pill before our first child and she had the "thing" that was inserted in her uterus. Both forms stopped her cycle and both stop eggs from producing. Of course, each women is different in their own, delightful, special way.
