    Well that is a one sided article. In what world is Holmes between UVA and VT and its fluid, but Nnadi is a slight Virginia lean? So both Walker and Holmes are VT leans which isn't mentioned, but even a perceived slight lean for Nnadi is brought up?

    There isn't a guy out there that doesn't have a Hokie bias that would tell you he didn't think UVA will clean house not only in Tidewater but the entire state this yr.
    You guys will get yours, not Hand, but you will get quality kids, but we will 100% most def. crush Tech on top-10 kids. Bank it!!!!

    I will respectively disagree, but as we have seen in the past, even when UVA gets higher ranked classes VT still wins on the field. As long as that continues you can have your top 10 players.

    You also have to keep em in school...which you all aren't all that good at...and you have to win enough to keep the sharks off your recruits and keep your coach. You all have a lot going for you on the recruiting trail, but you will have a hell of a time winning more than 4 games this year (4 is actually going to be harder than you want to admit). You have some tools on O...but good god man, look at your D depth chart...you will be starting kids that wouldn't be on the VT 2 deep and have kids that are 2-deep that would be RS for VT. You can't argue that, if you had VT's roster on D and we had yours you'd be saying the same thing. IMO you need to hope Coley wins the LB job so you can move Q Moore to DE where he belongs...if not you are even thinner on the DL

    I think that UVA will end up with Blanding, Kamara, and one of either Brown/Nnadi .. possibly MJ Stewart .. That's it

    VT could end up with Hand, Walker, Nnadi, Holmes, Boone, Lowe, Stewart, practically have a chance at all of them other than Henderson, Blanding, and Kamara .. Already have two top 10'ers in Williams and Mihota.

    We'll see how it pans out but I would bet that VT ends up with more top 10ers in Virginia than UVA does.

    On the field results DO matter ... and after UVA blows again this season and VT improves ... well ... we shall see

  • Where is the sentiment that VT and Michigan are the top two for Hand coming from? I know VT has long been thought to be the leader, but is Michigan actually #2? I know that that has been thrown around on the blue board and on the Michigan board, but has the kid or anybody close to him ever said that?

    I wish I could give you all my up-votes. These assclowns are like that every single year. But I bet numerous college football fans from around the country started reading this thread, and then stopped to Google what UVA stood for.

    They can't exactly beat their chests once the season actually begins. The rest of us fans hate the off season and look forward to football season starting. UVA is they opposite. There is nothing they cannot accomplish during the off season, where mythical championships are won and #1 recruiting classes locked up.

    As Christiancase said above, Hand has made it clear that Michigan has his favorite coaching staff, and that Bud is his favorite recruiter. He has emphasized in about all interviews that he has no favorite, but from his many interviews, I think it has become very clear that Michigan and VT are his top two, at least as of now. Of course, check back in this thread in a couple hours and we will probably both find out he is a heavy UVA lean.

    This. Hand is visiting Michigan this month, 15th-17th. First days of spring practice for Michigan. Hand is coming up with his coach, father and a fellow teammate. We will see where he stands following that visit.

    I believe after that we will have him for a junior day and then the spring game on April 20th. That's why we said above he does seem to have VT and Michigan solidly as his top 2 choices.

    How many players can UVA currently take in the 14 class to stay under 85? Even after yesterday's losses?
    How many do you need to cut/lose to get to the 85 for this fall?
    You do know that to be ranked in the top you not only need to have highly ranked, but volume?

    You will have a nice class but I am confused why you think Smitty was wrong? The 4 wins or London getting fired?

    I just think it's funny that HPTWAHOO uses the word "loaded" to describe a top 20 class. #20 is loaded? Really?? Does he realize that at #20, still nearly 30% of major conference teams will have a better class?
