the thread was about a question posed in a paper, then these geniuses go and start attacking me, since, you know, i had the gall to post a thread about a paper of somoene's in my class that posed an interesting question

ha ha ha... then, while bringing nothing to the conversation (trolling), they resume their inane attacks while avoiding the general question, you know, to make their little dicks seem bigger.

meanwhile, the thread still posits a valid question... it's all good, bloody condom... i will just go in and attack all of your posts, and threads, because they are all stupid.

meanwhile, you and your boyfriends from rivals, still want to turn this place into a shithole, since, you know, that's all you know. the sad part about it, is, since you are all geniuses, you all cannot even be brought down to a level where a discussion could take place... but we can all play that game.

and, yes. you have been shit since you got here.

Never did the Rivals boards in any capacity.. Were they really that bad?

I see.. That seems to be the general consensus I hear.. Was it the posters, site content,site design,mods.. etc..? What made it so turrible?

It had it's good and bad apples like all boards. It has gotten really bad lately though.

For me the major issue is inconsistent moderation. One day something is strictly verboten, the next day its allowed as long as its someone that a particular moderator likes. It makes posting on the boards very annoying, because you can get banned for saying something minor, while others can go into complete meltdown, and skate on by. Its become a very petty place. Again, no consistency.

Site design had always sucked to be honest, a lot of the posters were top notch (though many starting to leave when the trolls were coming by the dozen), and it just started to die a very slow and painful death.

It really got bad when 24/7 started up and starting stealing their top sites and Rivals found itself playing catch-up to the "new kid on the street".

I have really enjoyed it here since I have been with 24/7Sports.. Trolling and flaming will never completly stop, obviously. At least it seems to be at a minimum here.
