If your buddy loses a fight, he loses a fight. You can break it up if he's about to get fucked up real bad, but jumping in just because he's losing is so weak.
Don't fight in the 1st place if you need someone else's help.

Since that's the case, if you're ever in that scenario, you better hope the person you're jumping isn't about that life because you can guarantee there will be retaliation.
Me personally, if my boy was taking a L in a one on one fight, I'd jump in only to break it up and he'd have to charge that ass whooping he took to the game.

I agree with this take. Only step in to break up(by whatever means necessary) if the fight is one on one. If my buddy loses, he loses but I would never allow it to get out of hand. If my friend can't take a loss then he shouldn't be fighting. When breaking up the fight, if the other guy misunderstands the situation(which happens quite often with the heat of the moment and all) then we have a whole other set of circumstances. I'm not taking a punch and not retaliating. Give and take.
