    I agree with this. We don't really do the whole sign and place thing. Only had a handful in sabans era. Our numbers are too tight every year to be doing that kind of thing. Also any recuit with character issues gets processed fairly quick

    He's literally gotten kicked off his track team, kicked out of a football game for fighting and suspended for the next game. Rumored to have twin babies. Probably wont qualify... Just a great all around kid

    Coming from a Ohio state fan that's just comical. Ask any Florida fan on this board about Meyer's players down at UF. UF and UGA always battled for who had the most arrest each summer.

    I guess you didn't really get the point, did you? Josh McNeil just committed. Everyone knew there were grade issues and when he didn't make the progress that was set for him, his scholarship offer was altered. He probably will still get in somewhere and is probably going to end up at LSU. Saban just wasn't willing to take the risk on him. FYI though. He has a tOSU offer.

  • I hear he's a lot closer to qualifying than Eddie Lacy was at this point. Don't think that Alabama people won't be all over his ass when it comes to his schoolwork and making sure he does what he needs to.

    I'm not the only person predicting him not to qualify. Also, the only schools I hate are Pitt and VT. Saban is actually my favorite coach.

    Sorry but he's got a long way to go to qualify. He's definitely talented but in the classroom, he's lazy and dumber than NoVa.

    He's got work to do but I still say that Alabama will be all over him getting done what he needs to get done. He will be watched like a hawk from this point on and they will do all they can to make sure he stays focused.

    Time will tell. You don't understand just how far Eddie lacy was from qualifying. He committed and Bama stayed on his ass and made sure he did what he needed to get done.

    We will see I guess. I never really thought we would get him so I'm glad that we at least have a shot. If he doesn't get his act together, we may drop his offer. He'll get all the support that he needs, and I mean within NCAA rules before someone jumps all over that statement.

    Still pumped about the possibility.

    Bama sent josh McNeil all the way to a new high school in New York to try to get him qualified. I'd say Saban was willing to take some risks on him
