    The shelf life of players earning money is limited. The shelf life of the owners earning money is unlimited. I put it on the owners for not paying for it and the players for not pushing it. Ultimately they must of saw that cut coming out of their own end.

    pitiful situation , went to a charity event recently and they had a couple of old Titan players in attendance that spoke about this very topic . hard to believe with all the money they make that they dont put more back but like most of us they spend most of it when it comes in

    Yeah and the real sadness is the former players from way back

    They didn't even make the big bucks of today and they get nothing from the NFL

    They have to pay outrageous medical bills all by themselves and more than most of them are so beaten up they can't even work a regular job

    Its truly sad mane, and clearly Goodell doesn't even give a damn.... But whenever asked he has no problem saying that isn't the case cause he is a former player

    1% vs. the 99%. Perhaps it is representative of the larger cultural issue we have where the income divide is growing larger and larger with only one side benefiting.

    I find it amazing that he is "destroying the game", yet no one else seems to be able to capitalize off of this. Generally speaking, if there is a crappy product in the marketplace where there is a demand, there will be competitors. Where are they? Why do fans keep going to games?

    I guess you think that the game needs helmet to helmet hits, and increased concussions in order to keep the game "viable". Maybe you should watch some gladiator movies or something. The game is still plenty violent.
