I am sick of politics.....but if he really does pick Ryan, I will just have to laugh.. That entire party is being run by a minority fringe group of idiots. There is a sitting president who is overseeing a country with a massive national debt, high unemployment, and unpopular legislation in terms of health care, and yet the Republicans are doing everything they can to give away this election. Its exactly like 2004, when the Democrats nominated the stiff John Kerry, thereby giving the election to Bush. Of course Mitt Romney is the Republicans version of John Kerry, so I guess it all spins in circles.

That was my first reaction as well. The Romney camp sees themselves slipping in the polls, and like McCain, they knew they needed to throw a Hail Mary to win this thing. Granted, Ryan is a lot better and smarter than Palin, but his policies are extremely divisive. Red states will absolutely love him, but they're not the ones that will get Romney elected, and I don't see how he wins them any swing states.
Oh, and seniors love their Medicare.

Good move. He appeals primarily to the people that are already going to vote for Romney. He also will appeal to the 1% of voters that vote based on logic and well informed research. This exciting choice will give him a 0% jump in the polls, if not a decrease.
