Thats great for Anderson, happy for him with all the impressive camps and all-star games he balled out in. Having said that, i'm not sure how you can give him a fifth star and not give one to Amari Cooper. I mean, the kid balled out at the UA game and was getting huge momentum during the stretch run of his high school season. Just looked like a five star player to me i guess . Any body else think so?

Since Jack is the hybrid end spot he really is just a super DE and it's so hard for true freshman to come in and get playing time mainly because they aren't big enough yet

I remember arguing with another Bama fan this summer about Pettway. The only reason Dareus got playing time as a true freshman was because we were thin at DL in 08 and he got in towards the end of the year

He will have to beat out Dickson and Hubbard, not likely. Kid will not rs though, I think he will be a demon on special teams and maybe play situationally ala DePreiest, Upshaw there freshman years.

Cooper, I think will play a lot next year unless Shinn and Woodson have progressed big time.

Dareus had major grade issues. Soon as we signed him Tim Watts called him the steal of our class. Ryan got the same title from Tim when he committed.

I can go on and on. You see, the best thing about playing in a great program is that even your most talented freshmen can be groomed and don't have to be thrown into the starting lineup immediately. Whether or not Anderson starts next year means nothing as to his ability because we have the best returning LB corp in America.

Shon Coleman started out a 3-star a few years ago and after the all star games jumped up to a 5.

There isn't a better evaluating tool at the analysts disposal than these all star games. They can actually compare these guys head to head.
