Most CFB can respect good football and those that can't are likely douches. No one minds a team/conference winning as long as they do it with class. Chanting your conference as if you must identify yourself as belonging to the conference on your jersey is a pretty ghey act and screams "I am douchery".

Most CFB fans gets pissed at the SEC chants because it negates from the sport of the game. I would say most CFB fans know that the game is cyclical, so there is no reason for hatred towards any conference. The only hatred should be towards your biggest rival(s).
