  • It's probably not PC but whatever- UT is an embarrassment. Their once proud tradition has turned in to more than just some cautionary tail. It's nothing short of ridiculously embarrassing, They are the condom that falls out of your pocket while shaking your girlfriends fathers hand. I hate UT more than anything and even I feel bad for them. The Third Saturday in October used to mean something but they are at least 5 years away and a coaching change from it being worthwhile again. AT LEAST Looking at your recruiting class gave me cancer UT. You suck

    Not only is this not true, the post is just bad form. UT's class isn't stellar but it is decent and given the new coaching staff I think they did a good job. Haters will always hate but fans of the SEC.know that programs rise and fall. UT will be back and this coaching staff may just be the crew to make it happen.

  • Joshua Dobbs was the most important recruit in that class for Tennessee IMO. Landing Bell and losing Dobbs would have been met with much fanfare, but if it were an either/or, the Vols got the better of that deal because of the position value.

    EDIT: Just realized A&M isn't mentioned either. Bamas two biggest opponents next year not mentioned at all. Kudos.

  • I wouldn't trade LSU's signing class for anyone's in the SEC or the country.

    I"ll happily take another top 10 recruiting class and continue to be one of the premier programs in the country.

    no need to mention us, we'll just keep on rolling, with the love, or without it.

    As Keith already told me once already "Bamas recruits are just on another level" ... It looked like it when we were whopping them up and down field last November. Les Miles must be the greatest coach in history for even being able to compete with those future Hall of Famers.

    Yeah. Who needs SIX 5*'s when you can have one or zero according to the composite. LSU's class is very good but if you wouldn't trade it for Alabama's then you're just a blind homer. It is the consensus #1 class and the highest rated class in the history of Rivals.

    I also agree with the UT sentiment. They're just a complete joke right now. Of course they'll be back but they've been down for a while now and getting back is going to take some time. The 27th ranked class doesn't sound THAT bad but in the SEC, it's really bad news. 27th in the country is good for only 11th in the SEC and only ahead of Kentucky, Mizzou, and Vanderbilt. Ouch. The top teams in the SEC are recruiting on an entirely different level right now. UT hasn't signed a top 10 class 4 of the last 5 years while the best SEC programs are signing top 10 classes year in and year out. Can't catch up that way.

    Why do you care so much? Other than mentioning Bama's class being #1 and a snippet about Foster flipping, Alabama didn't make any of the "superlatives" or whatever. And that's the #1 class we're talking about. Quit being so insecure. The SEC signed A LOT of very good classes so not all of them can win some sort of made up, pointless award. Jesus.

    And when LSU was "whopping" Bama up and down the field last November, they probably should have remembered to ACTUALLY WIN THE GAME. Losers.

  • I think the most underrated recruiter in the country is Spurrier. He doesn't get the big name 5-star guys year in and year out but he gets the right guys who will buy in to what he needs them to be in order to be successful in the SEC.
