SEC offer goes out to 8th grader

MS State has offered Gabe Angel who wrapped up his eighth grade season this fall. Film is attached. I do not plan on calling the 14 yr old to get his reaction to the offer.

I was wondering when teams would offer this kid. I think he has the frame to eventually put on over 100 lbs. Any idea where he plans on visiting on his officials?

I think it may be a little bit premature to being offering this kid. Its a long time between now and when this kid gets to college. Who knows what position he will play, how big he will get and what kind of talent he will have. To be honest he didn't look that fast just bigger than everyone else and then were scared to tackle him. Although he could turn out to be a Robert nkimdeche and if that's the case we may have put ourselves in the drivers seat for him

They have divisions in junior high football? I can not believe they even have organized tackle football teams in junior high, that was completely new to me when I moved to Texas. This is tape from Southside Middle School, he is not playing against high school kids yet.
