The gap between the top 6 and the rest of the conference is just massive.

Yup. That's gotta be it. The Arkansas-LSU game the day after Thanksgiving usually has good numbers. I doubt as many people watched the game this year due to Arkansas' record. It was a surprisingly close game.

SEC is too top heavy. Need to get them some parity like the B10.

  • If only everyone in the conference was 7-4 the ratings would have been better.

  • CBS also dropped the Tenn-UF game, which historically, draws in a good amount of viewers. It had a ton of viewers this year.

The worst teams in the conference just need to be more competitive. It's not that they're losing. It's how badly they are losing.

They were pretty down this year. Tennessee and Arky were expected to be better and Auburn was way worse than expected.

Still Ole Miss played some teams close and they way they are recruiting this year they might be getting a lot better. Also the teams that are bringing in new coaches should improve.
