USC has been a better program than any in the south.

As far as what this absence proves, well it doesn't prove anything. Just that much of the argument comes down to whether sec defenses are that good, or is it the offenses that they face make them look good. Easier to have a dominant defense, when you face a lack of elite QB's. Though in reality, LSU and Bama had dominant defenses last season, the rest of that conference, not so much.

USC is 1 school from that coast. The western region is severely overrated in football.

Since BCS I believe the Pac 12 has a winning record or close to .500 with SEC heads up.

Sure thing. UF will rebuild it properly, I suppose.

But, you still dodged the fact that teams on the west coast have not been too dominant, with the exception of USC.

Say what you will about championships, but USC in 2008 was the best team in the country. We had 1 loss, UF had a loss, OU had a loss, and Texas had a loss. USC was not given a chance that year, so we settled for Sanduskying Penn St in the Rose Bowl.

Though we still were champs in 2003 and 2004 either way. 2008 was our best team of that decade.

Sort of like AU in 2004 so gtfo with that ish. Could have been there last year to play Bama, but got mud holed by ASU. When Pete was coaching, it was a one team conference until Chip and Harbaugh came in.

The crystal football from the 2003 season doesn't reside LA, at least the city. it's in Baton Rouge, but I guess if you want to claim a moral championship good luck.

Which doesn't determine who plays for the championship, congrats on the moral rings though.

It's funny to me when other fanbases from outside the SEC come on here an post stuff like this.. They try to find any and everything that were not winning at and post it, for what reason? I have no clue, or they are very jealious and hate all the attention the SEC gets so anytime they can shed some negative light upon the SEC they do it.. Cant wait to make it 7 in a row this yr, yall will lose you damn minds haa..

7?Not happening with USC on the case.

Well seeing as we couldn't play in any bowl game last year period,I don't think what you're saying applies. We will be there this year book it.I hope Bama makes it also.

Sure it does. Even if you were eligible, you wouldn't have been there.

Would love for a good ole historical fball championship this year. I just hope our defense doesn't repeat 2010 when we lost everyone.

  • So the Elite 11 QB's just drastically reduced their chances of winning a national championship while playing for their future collegiate team..thanks for pointing that out.

  • USC bitch slapped the SEC in the 2000's....not sure how SEC U can argue against them. What was AU ranked the year the trojans rolled in and made them look like a 1-AA team? Arkansas who won the SEC west got beat by what, 70?

Yet couldn't win when it mattered most. Only one trophy, which they had to give back. Congrats on beating the SEC when the conference was down. Not the case any more.
