SIAP- Henry Poggi to Visit Bama This Weekend

  • Rocket_Play said...

If he flips, get ready for "kid had character / grade issues and Hoke cooled on him... Pulled his offer"

Kid should just go to MSU. Everybody wins. These guys can stop bitching at each other, kids happy, we're happy, everybody is happy.

Doesn't matter. I'm sure you've heard the saying "it takes two to start a fight", so don't act innocent.

And according to a premium articles from both Scout and Rivals, Poggi is not taking an official visit, he is just going to the Alabama campus to visit an old friend, and he will have absolutely zero interaction with Bama's staff.

Not even doing this anymore. Your right im wrong. LAter

  • Not worried about Poggi. He's there to visit a former teammate that was in the 2012 class (Can't think of his name)

Father said Poggi is a man of his word and is STRONG to Michigan. Not an official visit either, so there will be no interaction with the staff.

    Move along here.

er, em, why not? You're an idiot btw. And that policy was never spoken about by anyone until some kids schollie was "pulled" and it certainly wasn't any posters that were NOT from UM who informed the world of this "policy". I've always said, if it exists at MSU ( I thought it did there too) Dantonio is an idiot. However, it wasn't any school outside of Michigan fans who were saying anything about that policy when the schollie was pulled. Who the hell would care but some 17 year old jock sniffer like you. However, when that policy was "changed" ( I know it wasn't- it most likely didn't exist) it was some posters on Mgoblog that needed to be corrected and given talking points. The rest of the crew was just giving you guys the business. Good for Hoke, let kids travel for gods sake.

Now in this case, Poggi is paying for the trip not Bama. amiright?

You can keep pretending like you know how Hoke's recruiting policy works. Fine by me.

You're wrong though. He has never pulled the scholly of a player who talked with him about going on visits. He pulled a scholly when a player told him he was solid and not taking any visits and then Hoke found out from the Florida staff that the kid visited Florida. He pulled the scholly because the kid lied. It's very straightforward and it's not surprising that MSU and OSU fans can't grasp it. Be honest and you're still a commit. Lie and you're not.

I have no idea if it's an official or not. Doesn't matter, because Poggi has been very open and honest with the coaches so he'll still be a commit. If he wants to decommit, that's fine and that's his decision. It's very hard to turn down Nick Saban and Alabama and I wouldn't blame him for it. But we certainly won't pull his scholly for this visit.

Oh, Dwags knows. He drank beer with coaches before. Wait long enough and he will tell you about it, again.

Wait, what? You really think I care about a recruiting policy? Jebus. yeah, I'm all over these boards about recruiting. lol

Honesty is the best policy. I ABSOLUTELY KNOW, it's not an official visit. Why don't you? The kid has said it's not right? If he's lying..................................

I believe in the kid, I wish you would.

Then who has? I don't know how you guys keep track of all this. It's like my wife with "her story" on t.v. Jebus, you guys need to have a score card to keep track of this stuff. All in all the kid should just play for Narduzzi, we'd all be very happy with it.

Damn, that's right. I know we'll probably get that kick in the teeth soon too. Hey, maybe we can get Pat Shurmur as Offensive Coordinator and Saban would come back as DC. Just ask 10% of the RCMB, those guys would say.... "hey, it could happen".

  • Oh Lord, yall are sensitive. The policy DOES exist. The technicality they are going on is the scholly is not "pulled". The policy is that they are no longer a commit, and UM may or may not choose to recruit you going forward. Policy is ghey by the way.

  • There's no doubt this kid is a Bama lock. Poggi realizes he'd rather play for nattys than the annual Frito Lay Corn Chip bowl.

That info from a few days ago said he was coming for an official visit, but that is wrong. He is just visiting to see an old teammate and he won't have interaction with your staff.

FYI but it started last year with the TE/DE from Ohio I cant remember his name. He visited Oregon and then got his scholly pulled.

Right, because he didn't tell the coaches. You're just proving my point.

Poggi has already been to Bama twice, and still picked UM. You guys can say whatever you want, dgaf.
