Okay, wasn't 100% sure outside of Bielema but I thought that there were three Big X coaches making a stink of it.

I just found it funny as hell because the same guys crying over it, were actually recruiting guys committed to other places while they were crying. Recruiting is cut throat and all these coaches know it. Until the ink is signed and the kid shows up for class, all is fair.

I wonder if it wasn't an agreed upon tactic for a few of those coaches to try and stop Urban's immediate success by coming out and making it sound like he was a dirtier recruiter than he was. Nobody will ever know I guess. Doesn't matter at this point. Urban will never have a class at OSU that is outside of the top ten in recruiting.

Your last sentence is a big part of the problem. Poggi could have taken this visit anytime over the past five months. If it's a real OV and he is seriously considering a flip, it's selfish and inconsiderate to do it 2 weeks from NSD. How would he feel if the same thing was done in reverse to him, i.e. we pulled his offer two weeks before NSD simply because we changed our mind and wanted someone else? My guess is he'd be pissed.

I don't mind when players decide to take their visits honestly as far as time frame. My issue comes in when they commit to a school and still full well know that they are going to take other official visits.

I just don't understand why players commit when they fully well know that they are going to take more visits to other schools. Just makes a lot more sense to me if they would just take all of their visits and then decide where they want to commit. I suppose that just makes too much sense though.
