I recorded the Sportscenter On the clock special today and just got around to watching it. Seems like there are big talks about the Jets wanting to maneuver with the Vikings to get that 3rd overall pick to get Richardson. I wonder what they will have to give up to jump that high. You have to think it would be a ton.

Taking any runningback 3rd is way to high. I wouldn't take one before the 15th pick and I I did he would have to be a special talent like Trent. Unless of course you plan to build your offense totally around the ground game but does anyone do that anymore?

I disagree with that because of the new rookie pay scale. Your not paying an ungodly signing bonus and 40-50 million dollar guaranteed contract for a top three pick anymore. I get what your saying that their shelf life isn't what it is for other positions but it's not killing you in the wallet anymore with the new collective bargaining agreement. Now it makes more sense to pick the best player for your team or the best talent at that position than it was a couple of years ago.
