I have to ask, how many men do you know would go on record and claim they were sexually abused if they weren't? I would be less willing to believe it if they were speaking publicly with the media, but they aren't. They didn't even go to the media anonymously.

My best guess is these were people who were interviewed by the Freeh investigators and spoke to them on the condition of anonymity. Men just don't report sexual assault or abuse, in fact, statistics show they are three times less likely to report it for a variety of reasons.

It is probably much more likely that Sandusky victims are staying silent than the ones who are going to the authorities are lying. And many of them don't appear to have gone to authorities, it looks- to me anyway, I could be wrong- that the authorities used records and went to them and asked.
