No, I don't tip people to ring me up and take my money.

It depends. If it's a a place like O'Charley's, the person who does carry out is usually a waiter who only does that job for that night.

So they rely on tips for 90% of their money. So, yes, I tip because they put together the salads, bread, get the other food from the cooks, etc.

At places like Pizza Hut all they do is pick up the cooked pizza and put it in a box, so no.

Walking in to get an order, no. Waiting for the food curbside, yes.

I've waited tables and we did some take out so I always tip on pick uo. Not the 20% but like 2 bucks.

Not really calling out those that have. I've heard the horror stories, I know it sucks.
Having worked in a service based business where I would make 5-10 dollars in tips in an 8 hour day, having to enter the homes of bedridden people with dozens of cats and animal feces everywhere, garbage strewn about the floor, witnessing senior citizens naked and incontinent, and confronting severe mental and physical disabilities on a daily basis...
Sorry I don't feel sorry for the waiter guy at dealing with annoying people at O'Charleys. Again, Ive heard the bad stories, dated a chick that worked in food service, but trust me, it's not the only shitty job on the planet.

And trust me, the unbelievable stuff you see on "Hoarders", "The Super", etc...believe it. Its all real.

Of course you don't tip that's the whole point
