  • I honestly don't know why people got so up in arms over Rose gambling anyway.

    I understand the sentiment, but it's been documented that Rose ALWAYS voted on his team to win. How the hell is that so wrong? He's not fixing games. He never once bet that the team he managed was going to do anything but win.

    I was watching ESPN yesterday and heard one of the announcers say '' Next year Greg Maddux is up for the first time and he will make it in, but no one this year deserves to make it first try"

    I also shit my pants... How does Maddux, as good as he was, deserve to be first ballot but Schilling does not?

    Greg Maddux had like 140 more wins. There's a bigger gap between the two players than you're realizing.
