To be honest, aside from flip-flops, I don't have an opinion on men's shoes. I am not really a fashion maven, however. I feel like treber (RIP) would be more apt to answer this question.

I wear my wolverine wingtip boots all the time because frankly they are the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned and two, they go great with everything... however, you probably wouldn't wear them. So get some Chukka boots.

It appears I am well behind the times. I bought my Wallabies in high school which was 00' or 01' then all the way til now. Damn, that's over a decade. Time to let them go. Maybe get a woman to pick them out. I suck at this stuff. fvc*

Never OK for dudes to wear flips flops other than when taking a shower at the gym/ college dorm or at the beach or swimming pool.

I actually hate it when people wear basketball shoes when they aren't playing bball. For example, people wearing them with jeans or khakis pants/shorts and a polo shirt/nice botton down. To me its either a sign of laziness or the person just lacks fashion sense.
