I don't do it often . But sometimes yes, it's just cold enough for jeans but you want your feet to get some cool air.

Well, I do like to spend a lot of time outside in the summer. Places like zoos, berry-picking farms, hiking paths, parks, etc., have a lot of dirt/gravel paths and roads.

I'm from the superficial capital of the south were etiquette and how you dress is way more important than it should be, if it's unacceptable here then I'm comfortable assuming that jeans and flip flops aren't a 'southern thing'.

I think it mostly depends on the time of sandals. IF you are talking about rubber sandals and jeans.. no way..

if you are rocking a quality pair of sandals you can certainly wear them with jeans.

Flip flops on guys is a no no in the northwest. Pretty ghey if you ask me. Why not just wear some athletic sandals or something actually intended for men?
