    He didn't have anything to do with that. He talked to, and arranged meeting with the Head of Campus Police. Joe did everything he needed to do, and trusted people he worked with with for almost two decades, to do their f*cking jobs. Penn State failed him, Joe didn't fail anyone.

    First of all he did NOT talk to the head of the campus police. He talked to a financial manager whos work happened to include the campus police. The guy was NOT a police officer and had no legal authority as such.

    If you see a murder at Target, do you report what you saw to the head accountant at that Target, and leave it at that? You know, because that head accountant writes the checks that the security guards cash?

    Joe Paterno deserved to get fired, because he knew what Sandusky was doing, and never said a word against it. The fact that Sandusky kept that office and kept using Penn State facilities, despite the head football coach knowing that he had been caught in the shower sodomizing a ten year old boy, is reason to fire Paterno. There is NO way that Sandusky remains at Penn State in any way if Joe makes any sort of comment that it might not be appropriate.

    Instead your university allowed that scumball to use its facilities as a pedophiles 7-11. Quit being a douche and attacking everything but the administration and coaches at that campus, that are making a degree from Penn State a punchline to a million jokes.

    Gary Shultz was never a police officer. He did not have any legal authority as a police officer.

    There was ZERO effort made by Paterno, McQuery, Shultz or Curley to tell and actual legal official about what was happening at Penn State.

    Now Shultz and Curley may have been guilty of being willfully trying to cover things up. But that doesnt mean that Paterno and McQuery are not just as guilty of not doing nearly enough when these facts were brought to them.

    Paterno failed as a human being at this one time. Like it or not it tarnishes his image, and will be what a lot of people think about when they think of Coach Paterno. Like Woody Hayes before him, one stupid act ( or one look the other way in the face of horror) has cost him his legacy.

    And no amount of mindless Penn State fanboy love is going to change that.
