I like how the only guy the coward kills is the kraut who had surrendered. Low class move from the guy who had done absolutely nothing positive for the group as a whole before that happened.

we watched SPR in a capstone course i took my last semester that studied the film. it was pretty awesome dissecting the film and studying some of the interviews that Spielberg and the crew did explaining the rhetoric within the film.

Not a fan. The opening scene was well done but the movie was full of typical speilberg garbage, trying at every turn to tug on the heartstrings. Not a fan of Speilberg in general.

Apocalypse Now is the closest thing to being the GOAT in that genre, but despite its setting it isn't a pure *war film.*

Awesome movie...It always makes me appreciate what they did. I also love Black Hawk Down
