Scared of LSU

  • From the reactions I've read today, everyone is scared of LSU. Begging for Les to stay especially gtownreb, what's his record. Don't worry Les will retire here and then LSU will hire whoever they want. Have a nice day

  • I'm not sure why people think that Les leaving LSU would be such a blessing for LSU.

He recruits lights out, his kids love playing for him, and he gets the job done. Everyone here seems to criticize Les, but there is only 1 program that has more recent success than LSU.

IMO anyone who calls him a bad coach is an absolute tool. I haven't checked, but I'd guess that Miles is LSU's best coach of all-time (wins?, winning %?), so he obviously isn't that bad.

He's taken full advantage of the powerhouse Saban built for him. coffee

Sure, Saban may have given him a head start. But taking over a program that has had success isn't exactly an easy thing to sustain, especially in the SEC. Look at what Rich Rod did to Michigan, and that's just one of many examples.

Les gets no credit, it's retarded.

Why would we give out credit for some ten-win seasons? shrug

Yeh a Natty and another Natty appearance, just a horrible resume.

Also if Saban gets credit for Les' Natty in year 3, I guess Weis gets credit for Brian Kelly's Natty appearance also?

The cock sucking of Saban is ludicrous enough on this board, but crediting him for Les Miles success is absolutely outrageous.

Mike Shula is credited for saban's first natty and his second appearance

Nah. See Shula sucked ergo we don't credit him, we credit Saban for overcoming that.

18 of 22 for ND this year.

All hail Charlie Weis, what a great Coach setting up Kelly for that Natty.

In all seriousness crediting Saban for LSU and Miles doing work is about the stupidest fvcking thing I've heard in a while.

IMO Saban's dogchit tenure at MSU was the reason Dantonio was able to succeed at MSU.

    Nah. Just a great recruiter.

Look at what happened to Miles after he lost all of Saban's players: two straight mediocre seasons. He's done a good job building it back up.

  • Hes about to finish out this class with 19-22 Four Star recruits and then probably the best recruiting class in school history in 2014.

The man can bring in the talent. We just need him to hire a competent OC.

I don't know what to expect in the future. Next year may be completely different. I think Sumlin is building a great program though, he has done much better than I thought.
