  • I'm not a genius, but I'm not stupid. Made a 27 on the act which is between 1210-1240 on the sat. Just wondering what some you majored in and what fields you currently work in.
Edit: I'm planning on re-enrolling this fall I will be 22. Already got most of basics out of the way.

Double-majored in Government and History, minor in Law and Society. (Cornell doesn't have a pre-law major, so I cobbled one together myself.)

    Currently an attorney.

  • I got a 32 on my ACT (up from a 29 the first time I took it); my highest portion was a 35 on math. I've always been a huge math and science guy (namely physics and biology) so I went to college planning to do (mechanical) engineering. However, I hated many of my professors and found the material and potential work to be quite boring, so I switched over to graphic design (another one of my favorite hobbies) and got my B.A. in art. I followed that up with a Masters in advertising and public relations.

I plan on getting my MBA sometime in the next 5 years and then after that I plan to get a PhD (in what exactly I'm unsure of) and teach at the collegiate level.

Oh, and I currently work as a graphic designer for a web advertising agency, as well as art director for my start-up agency and do a fair amount of freelance work on the side.

  • I got a 29 on my ACT, I am majoring in Accounting with a minor in Finance. Working on getting my 150 hours to be a CPA. Plan on working in public accounting for 2 years then bouncing to do something more enjoyable, not sure what. I'm more interested in working in manufacturing and doing cost studies, lean manufacturing, and that type of work.

  • Well, when I was in HS. I got a 1250 on the SAT, didnt take the ACT. I was a criminal justice major for all of... 2 months, then got hurt and dropped out of school.

Now though, I do classes and will get a degree is criminal justice, as well as a certification as a "anti terrorism specialist" (I'm in the military though, so I got credits for service time and my actual job. Which is a police officer)
