    Fwiw a close family friend used to write for Ellen degenerous. Two rumors (more her personal theories than rumors) he heard from her was 1: will smiths marriage was a Sham (claimed his wife used to be a lesbian, they have since divorced) and 2: that Oprah winfrey was a scientologist, two of her favorite guests were cruise and travolta.

    Wouldn't be surprised to see her be 2 for 2.

  • It's really no less arbitrary than every other religion. Some storylines are more well developed and namely developed before information sharing and therefore had a huge familial tradition before the internet revealed it. Scientology is a new religion that is poorly conceived but will still get a lot of followers.

    Honestly, you have to remember too....most people in Hollywood either spend 20 hours a week in counseling or should. These people basically need a huge 24/7. Scientology can be that for them.
