None of his budgets were even brought up for a vote. He didn't even push for any of them. He only submitted them to meet to requirement that he submit a budget. Hell one year the budget he submitted was so bad the GOP brought it up for a vote just to make a point.

The GOP brought an overly-generalized 50-page "budget amendment" as opposed to the actual 2000-page budget. No sane person is going to vote for a budget that just contains broad areas and numbers with nothing itemized or specifically allocated. Voting for the Sessions legislation would be akin to handing Congress a blank multi-trillion-dollar check. The only point that was made following the vote was that GOP gamesmanship needs some work.

Seems like Americans do like more government
