Seriously? RF and Yeldon

  • This is just sad...these are fighting words!

    Yeldon's statement

Over the last few weeks, I’ve really put a lot of time and thought into where I want to go to school and continue my football career. I am blessed to be in a situation where I have several great opportunities and I appreciate everyone involved who has helped me get to this point.

I want to make an announcement so I can put this behind me and get to work on the things I need to do to prepare for college both athletically and academically. I am going to enroll at the University of Alabama in January. I have a lot of respect for Auburn, the coaches, and all of the people there, but at the end of the day I feel like the University of Alabama is the best situation and fit for me and my family. I am 100 percent confident with my final decision. I feel great about it and I’m excited to get started.”

  • There was no doubt a sour taste left in the AU staffs mouth after that fiasco(And I can see why) so they set the whole thing up to get back at us, and it is working to perfection currently.

Will be a sad day for them again come November though.

Umm yea..yea ya did. TJ said this, and lil brother just mocked it for attention. Sad. It isnt a HUGE lose to the Alabama football in terms of winning, and i am butthurt over losing his talent not his attitude, but i will give props to AU for landing his talent.

You would think little brother would be the one crying. Odd how big brother Fredo is usually the one cry here lately.

Definitely. It feels good being able to lose a top 10 player and still be at the top of the rankings though, it feels really good having won 2/3 MNC's recently, and it feels even better to have a shot at doing it again. I am indeed butt-hurt, but the only tears that are coming form me during this time are the tears of sheer joy at being the best.

As soon I saw Reuben's statement, the first thought that went through my mind is this statement is a carbon copy of TJ Yeldon's statement last year. I definitely believe someone at Auburn wrote Reuben's announcement for him and based it off the Yeldon statement. A classic warning shot from Chizik not to mess with his recruits

TJY pulled a punk ass move after Saban whined about not messing with his recruits the year before.

    This means war.

You or the rest of the bammers dont have room to complain over these games in recruiting. If you remember back to last year, Yeldon lied to people for weeks and then commited to bammer on the eve of the dead period in early December. This was done so Auburn coaches could not contact him and attempt to change his mind.

I firmly believe Saban orchestrated Yeldon's decomit from Auburn and commitment to bammer right down to the second, because posters on BOL were predicting when it was going to happen right down to the hour weeks in advance. I thought these people were crazy at first, but they turned out to be exactly right

Read my previous post. I firmly believe the way Auburn handled Reuben Foster was basically revenge for the way Saban orchestrated Yeldon's recruitment last year. Chizik obviously had a big problem with the Yeldon situation last year and wanted to send a message

    aubie25

  • I am definitely pulling for Auburn just so we can witness Chizik re-enact Dabo's post game speech from last year.

true retaliation would be waiting til the day before the dead period, leaving them with no time to get in on another LB... Chiz has more class than that.
