Shanahan should be fired tomorrow

Yeah bc that's clearly what I was saying... blank Gibson couldn't hardly even stand up. He pinch hit & won a world series game off one of the greatest closers of all time despite this. If he had struck out or fallen down then they'd be screaming to fire Lasorda. In this situation, if RGIII had won, people wouldn't be saying anything. Instead, they lost so it's on Shanahan...

I understand, but Kirk Gibson wasn't risking much injury wise rolling the pole up there.

If it were Eck throwing with the injury going it would be a fair comparison.

I don't think people are mad at Shannahan because they lost, but because he mortgaged the kids future.

Yea but if they would have won he would have been a mastermind.. It is always a lose lose when things go bad.

If they would have put Cousins when they were up 14-0 and he blew the lead they would have been questions as to why they would have pulled griffen when the offense was scoring.. Can't have it both ways.

  • i don't have a problem with playing but the issue is the play calls. Griffin should of never had a run play called with his knee like that and especially on the worse field in the NFL.

If I was Dan Snyder I would look into a turf field, thsi is the same field that tore up Adrian Peterson's knee. I am a fan of grass but only if you are in a city that has the weather to take care of it.

Fair enough... We are disputing two different things. I'll agree it probably wasn't the safest choice ever made but he was cleared by the team doctors & he demanded to play. I can't say that I'd have done it any differently. If he hadn't be cleared then that'd be another story...

    Didn't Andrews not clear him?

Nobody was mad when a college coach let a 1st rd draft pick play with a broken leg. shrug

Nah look at the Nats, nobody is calling for Rizzo's head even though the Strasburg playoff thing failed.

Nobody is questioning Frazier after sitting Ponder with a bruise.

That's the risk you take when you play an injured player.

Yep, totally destroyed EVERYTHING in his knee. 14-18 months is what I am reading as well.

    Today is Monday...

They already know. Further test are just to confirm. Im not making it up, nor do I have a dog in the fight, the 14-18 month thing is coming out of DC from the Skins beat writer. Dan Snyder is flying with RG3 to see DR. Andrews. I dont think the owner of team would go if it was to just confirm news that nothing is wrong. Dudes knee is gone, so are the 2013 Redskins.

I don't know about that. Cousins played well when RGIII was out. I think he will do okay. Not as good as RGIII, but better than many think.
