Shapiro still sounds mad at Miami.....

  • One of the main reasons, at this point, I think Miami will get bad sanctions is that the writer of the original story has not re-emerged. He is not in the business of screwing Miami but if Miami got off with little to nothing after his article outlined so much he'd be shamed. Him not coming out to reinforce or clarify things to my knowledge makes me thing he believes enough has stuck.

Negative. His biggest piece of evidence is pics with players out and about around Miami..... Last time I checked, it wasn't illegal for kids to party nor take their pic with "friends". USC got caught and trying to cover the whole thing up. Lloyd Lake is 1000 times more credible than Shiparo. Just bc you got raped by the NCAA doesn't mean we will.

What evidence did Lake have? What did USC get caught covering up? You clearly have no clue as to what happened. How anybody is less credible than a lifetime gangmember and drug dealer, who admittedly has never actually had a real job is beyond me, but I'll take your word for it because you everything else you said was so spot on.

This post makes zero sense to me. If anything him keeping a low profile makes it seem like he is ashamed of his "story of the year" which was mainly irresponsible journalism. He is staying out of the light bc he looks like a fool.

That's not what would be going on at all. He'd be releasing extra information and helping point out some of the connections. No way would he be going underground. There's no underground left in this world. Him laying low is not a good sign for Miami.

That's actually true. All i know is his family got a free house and he received "lavish" gifts.... I would use the word allegedly but since both Bush vacated his Heisman trophy and USC gave back their NC trophy, something happened.

Gang member/ drug dealer vs Billion dollar ponzi schemer (butthurt booster).... geez i wonder who is less credible

Good Lord! His family DID NOT get a free house...they lived in a tract home in San Diego rent free for a year, supplied by a would-be-agent 200 miles away from the university. A $700,000 home in SD is peanuts, not even a custom home, hardly unbelievable that two working parents making that much could afford the rent.

As for lavish gifts, what? An old impala that was tricked up (or is the term tricked out?) - have you ever seen the cars in the USC parking lots? Some tickets to games? Here's a clue...RB's parent both had jobs, making a reported $100,000 per year. Not grand money, but no reason why they couldn't afford to attend games or dress decently if they manage their money well. RB was quiet, intelligent and always dressed well with nice clothes..nothing to suspect at all.

Why comment with stupid sh*t if you're not going to bother to research anything. For anyone that has actually read the NCAA report, they would know that the NCAA commended USC for it's full cooperation. But, people like you would rather say dumb shit because you chose to believe it.

Well, get ready...a lot of people all over the country "chose to believe" that the U is dirty as hell, and has always been.

You are probably right. I'm sure USC did everything by the books & just happened to forfeit their NC. Get a clue.

Never said they did, but I do know the facts. You admittedly don't have a clue, but decided that shouldn't get in the way of talking.

Ummm because this is a message board?! Saying stupid sh*t is the norm... (and is encouraged)

Glad to know you have done your "research" (which i clearly haven't bc i could give two fvcks) but regardless they stripped USC of a title... It wasn't for some MINOR infraction like you are implying. That doesn't happen.

The guy has pictures, receipts, other people to corroborate his story, and former players have not exactly said he is full of it(a few said "it is in the past). He is a huge douche, liar, cheater, thief, and certainly has a motive, but he has a crap load of evidence to back up what he is saying. The accuser being a lifelong criminal didn't exactly help out USC.

You mean the receipts that prove he bought stuff. None of the receipts I've seen in the Yoo-hoo article prove who the stuff was bought for.

If I go out and buy a tv does the receipt for the purchase prove who I bought the tv for or just that I did in fact buy a tv?

If I go to a club and take pictures with people does that prove that I know them well or does it prove that we were at the same club?

If I go to a birthday party with some of my friends does that prove I know the guy throwing the party or just that I was at the party?

If I take a picture with someone and say we spent the day killing baby seals does that prove we spent the day killing baby seals?

That is where the Paul Dee angle screws you guys. He took circumstantial evidence and tarred and feathered USC with it. Even if the NCAA learned a lesson from that they'd have to apply it to Miami or it would take even their otherworldly record of shadiness to an even higher degree.

Someone needs to put him on laundry or weight room duty... need to silence this fool asap

All of Yahoo's "other sources" have wished to remain anonymous because they fear being attacked. This guy sits in prison and he doesn't share their same fears? You would think the big bad UM mafia that has everyone else afraid would be able to arrange for this guy to have an "accident" considering he is surrounded by convicted criminals an assassin shouldn't be hard to find.

Or maybe the "other sources" are just a bunch of loons and Robinson knew if he named them he would get embarrassed.

You can play this game all day. The guy has way way way more proof than Lloyd Lake did regarding what he said he gave Bush and family, and does so for dozens of players. Does he need videotaped proof for the NCAA to consider it because it is involving Jobba the Dee?

Yes, he does...but only because your butt hurt about something.

You sound like another one of these experts around here.

They start off by saying they haven't followed the UM investigation and then give their "predictions" as to what will happen.....
Whatever happened between SoCal and the NCAA doesn't make a turd with regards to future scandals. They don't set precedents in their rulings. They reinvent the wheel every single time.

See Cam Newton scandal. That firestorm was going on during Auburn's undefeated Naty Title run. If ever there was a time for the giggle sticks that run college football to put their foot down don't you think that would have been it? Instead they did absolutely nothing. The Scam Newton debacle was the OJ Simpson case of NCAA infractions. Everyone knew they were guilty but at the end of the day they avoid punishment. UM could be the Casey Anthony case of NCAA infractions and escape justice all the same.

You can say Paul Dee's ties to the COI are bad for UM. I can say that his cronies well get his back on this one.
