The best business show on regular tv that i know of. I pick up tips watching this constantly, does anyone know of any other shows with merit?

It's a good show and I watch when I can. Got pissed when I saw one where a guy was making a little magnetic piece for ipads and such that just redirects the volume towards you. Making them for a dollar and some change and then selling them for like 12 bucks and nobody was interested unless they could ship production to China and cut cost in half of what is already a great profit margin. Greedy bastards like that are doing far more harm to America than the poor and Mexicans that everyone bitches about.

Shark Tank is stolen from a Canadian TV show called Dragon's Den. Even a couple of the guys on Shark Tank are either still on Dragon's Den or were originally.
Cool show for sure. Cuban is great for it.

Anybody that goes on their show has to agree to give Mark Burnett 5% of their company whether a deal is made or not. Pretty sweet deal for him.
“Sony Pictures Television, a Designee of Mark Burnett, and ABC may receive equity in or a share of revenues generated by the businesses included in this program.” Specifically, buried deep in the agreement (which you can see by clicking here), by merely appearing on the show, whether a deal is made or not, I have to give 5% of my "business" or 2% of the profits forever to the producers. So, my appearance was not free. Since the business I was presenting was TEC-Technology Enabled Clothing®, I now have partners in that business, even though a deal was not made with The Sharks. Free? They make money out of every deal I make from here forward.

Actually its originally a Japanese show called the same that the CBC adapted. How very Canadian to adopt a show idea and not change the name, and how American to do it and change it haha
