It just popped up in a big ad and the clarity of what I was seeing stopped me in my tracks. My first thought was "what time does Sunday school start again"?

It's called trunk or treats but the one I went to was pretty elaborate. Every family picked a theme (beach, Paris, cartoon, etc etc) and made their designs based on that. It wasn't kids walking up to unlit vehicles parked in dark alleys. They set the whole thing up in the church parking lot and had a lot of fun with it. Every person there was dressed up in costumes except myself and two or three others. I didn't get that creepy feeling like you'd think. He said they do it in his area to keep kids from having to travel all over to trick or treat in the bigger neighborhoods.

Ps- I didn't consider it stealing at the time. The sun is out not a cloud in the sky so I'm back in the plus somehow today.
