    Is Redd an Intial Grant in Aid? He's already been in the game for awhile.

    I think he works like a plain old transfer. I don't think their considered Initial Grant in Aid players.

    We had 3 EEs available if everyone qualified. Redd knocks that down to 2. But if there are non-qualifiers, those open up additional EE spots.

    All of our recruits except Darreus Rogers are in... but we've had situations in the past where they've cleared USC admissions but not the NCAA clearinghouse. So, I have no clue what could happen.

    He publicly blasted both Cam Williams and Armani Reeves when they chose to go to Ohio State.

    I think you are correct. There is a Rivals article that states Darreus Rodgers might not qualify.

    Dipstuff how do you think a walk on got the scholarship? They were gift scholarships Kiffin gave to them and all the walk ons have released a statement saying they would gladly give up their scholarship for Redd.

    And besides, everyone that knows CFB knows that walk-ons are awarded one-year scholarships. It's not like the player was told he has a scholarship for the upcoming year and USC is going to take it away; USC simply hasn't told the player if he has one or not.

    When were they planning on telling him? Christmas present? I am a Notre Dame fan. What is wrong with our ethics? Kid gets hurt, ND fulfills their end of the 4 year scholarship. Player underperforms? Still honored with his scholarship. ND gives scholarships to kids and they mean it. Not year to year like most places. ND gave a walk-on a scholarship this past year. They would never take that away from him. If he earned it before, why not now? Lot of things going on at USC that are very questionable. And you guys are currently receiving sanctions. Possible recruiting violations by your backup QB with Redd? Maybe nothing, but you guys must know you are under a microscope with the NCAA.

    Not mad. Takes a lot to get me mad. Just hate when a hard working kid earns a scholarship, then all of a sudden, a new flavor of the month comes around and now the guy isn' good enough. That's all

    So it would be better for LK to never award an extra scholarship to a WO for a season because it is wrong to take it back even when LK told the WO is was a possibility.

    As a WO, I would rather get a 1 year scholarship than 0 years.
