Good for you. I'm not the one bagging on people for actually sitting around on Thanksgiving and watching football. If you don't like pro football that's fine. I personally enjoy watching NFL ball, especially on Thanksgiving. My team, the Falcons, weren't playing but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy watching the games on Thanksgiving day.
I don't care about it as much as a Bama game, but I still enjoy watching the football. I'm just saying that it's fvcking stupid to bag on people for actually enjoying a laid back day watching football with their families and or friends while eating awesome food. Do whatever it is that you enjoy doing, but don't bag on people that enjoy doing what 90% of the rest of the country do.
I'm not a big NBA fan but enjoy eating a nice Christmas meal and watching NBA games on Christmas as well.

What else is there to watch? Do you prefer the Macy's Parade? My Grandma wanted to watch that today. I said no.
Also, most of the time we are in conversation. Sometimes the conversation turns into game conversation. Other times it turns into random conversation. You know... A normal Thanksgiving with the family.

When 7 people are watching a ball game, and 1 person wants to watch a parade, the 7 overrules the 1. Just the way of life. There is 2 more TV's in the house if she really wants to see the parade. She stayed in the living room since we were mostly conversing. Some good conversation went on in that room today. I know its crazy to think about when a football game is on TV. People can still talk... Black magic of some sort.
