  • These kids get free stuff that is clearly illegal in NCAA guidelines. Not at the majority of schools but it does happen. Clemson has nothing to lose if they're caught cheating so why not give your five-star recruit an Escalade? Some programs have a greater tradition and image to protect but that seems to hold little value in college football. It's easy for programs to sacrifice that for more wins and a better shot at winning the title. Anyone thinking these kids are getting loans from their parents or something is kidding themselves.

    Because no one had to look at the OP to know only an Aub would start this type thread. They are so jealous of Bama's success that it destroys their very soul and Clemsonis just collateral damage because they know they are moving beyond AU's level as well.
    Perhaps if the AU players spent as much time in the weight room as their little mindless followers do spreading message board drivel then they may win a few more games this year...... But I guess they gotta do what they can,, cause if you can't fly as high as others,, then you try anything you can to pull others down to your level..
    That is what the bitter and jealous do,, right?

    I've worked in finance with GMAC, and I've worked at dealerships. They are not letting anyone have a vehicle based on future earnings. I've audited dealerships that provided cars for players, and the were carried in hidden accounts, and they knew without question it was wrong. Dealerships never, under any circumstances, give anyone a car in the hopes they will get paid 2 to 3 years later.
