    If I had a kid and he or she got a full ride to college. That's saving me 19-28,000 a year. If they did well in school. Yes I would get them a nice car. What about all this white kids I see driving 90,000 BMW and Benz??? Are you going to have the NCAA investigate them too oh offcourse not their white. Thread over.

    All players under scholarship have to fill out paperwork with proof of where any support comes from especially auto purchases.

    If daddy can afford a Beemer for Jr he can have one. If a player with a mother on welfare drives a Tahoe or Escalade it's a red flag. There are black players whose parents can afford nice rides and there are white players whose parents can't. It just seems that too many players who "come from poverty" drive some pretty nice rides in the SEC. At least the starters do by their Sr years.

    Its not even just black athletes. My neighbors son goes to college drives a 2006 5series and he gets pulled over alot.
    I see black guys in Mercedes and other luxury cars get pulled over too. Its like people don't think. That's a perfect ending " people don't think"

    Like you, I've no idea what a manshion is. However, a friend of mine recently had plans drawn for his new house. Over 8,000 square feet w/ only 3 bedrooms. They did have some pretty sweet stuff taking up the rest of the space, though.

    To be fair, I have no idea if there was really any wrongdoing at USC or not. What I do know is that when the NCAA starts looking hard enough, they're going to find something that someone in the AD or a group of boosters know about, and they'll use it to dry rape you. Do I think we (Bama) did some wrong during the whole Albert Means fiasco? Yep. Do I think that a lot of what was used to bend us over was bullshit? Yep. It's just how they roll. If you're going to hammer us for what we did wrong, then hammer us for what we did wrong. But don't manufacture maybes and likelies, add them to the sins, and multiply by the number of secret informers, which breaks your own code of investigative ethics. To say the least, I have a certain empathy for you guys.

    Because Trent was driving around a 2006 GMC Yukon and you can get one of those for around 16k. I've also heard its common practice for dealerships to give cars based on future earnings.
