Maybe, maybe not. I'm sure there was a number of voters that voted for him based on the back story. No denying that. But to accuse him of coming up with this whole scheme just to win trophy's is dumb. I think given all this he should just say f**k it & give them back. They mean nothing, especially when he's about to become a multi millionaire. Also I didn't deflect, just agreed that if that is the case it is what it is. I can guarantee you one thing though. ND will be fine through all this. May not end well for Te'o. But Swarbrick is too smart, he was a big time litigation lawyer in Indianapolis, best believe he covered his ass & ND's.

Just saying.. I wish he would've been a MAN and got on camera to tell us his story and not hide behind closed doors... He'll sit up there and make everyone feel sorry for him and gain our sympathy, even though he was LYING to us bc he KNEW she was fake and still faked things in his speech for sympathy.. He had no problem getting on camera when it benefit him.. I mean, they asked a question about his Gma and he went out of his way to talk about his fake GF on a few occasions without being asked about her.
This guy isn't a real man and is a coward and a liar. He deserves all the criticism he's receiving.

To me, one of the best ways to prove his lack of complicity is to produce his phone and email records. It would prove something to me if he showed weeks of all night phone calls. To me it is a no brainer and if it were me these records would be produced immediately.
