I'm thinking Arky makes the best hire. They've had longer to do it, and while Petrino is good, a solid coach is going to look at that job and think he can do better if he recruits a couple people on defense.

Tennessee also could do it. It's a big job if handled right. I figure they get the 2nd best hire.

Thought Kentucky already got Stoops from FSU? That's about as good as they could hope for IMO.

Auburn is best situated for recruiting, being in Alabama, right next to Georgia, and close enough to Florida/Miss/La. The problem for them is all the chaos. How many top candidates are going to wonder about going to work for a lame duck AD with potential investigation looming and constant rumors of meddling from boosters and retired coaches? I think they end up settling for someone way down their list. Next round they'll clean the whole place out and have a chance to hire a better coach.
