And I post this for one reason, to accurately represent Christianity. Not to evangelize the board. So don't zap it. Folks want to discuss this and it's been allowed so let's get some Truth going instead of false prophets like Joel Osteen.

Why enter the thread? Some on here have been asking about Jesus and the very issues this sermon addresses have poured forth from some confused men's minds on here. If you are neither interested nor representative you can either watch or not but don't whine.

Well...its a thread on the board. And you are simply using the board to push your favorite minister and his ideas as being the "way that Jesus really is".

You cant even be bothered to do it yourself, but instead you link an hour long video. An infomercial for Jesus. This is not adding anything to any conversation, and instead its just you trying to get your personal religious beliefs out on the board. This is not adding anything to any discussion we have had, its just simply some guy preaching the gospel. I was involved quite a bit in the other thread, and this is exactly the opposite of what that was.

Why cant you express what you are trying to say in a paragraph instead of a professional preacher talking about his personal opinions on what the bible means?

Ya see...heres the problem. You are taking this guy, and since you think he has found the "right way" that he is the real representation of Christianity.

This guy is an asshat. Hes so full of his self importance that he thinks HE knows the word of God better than the vast majority of people who claim to be Christian. Its a sermon of hubris and obnoxious personal opinions that he cloaks in his idea that he knows it all.

Hes a charlatan who preys on peoples fears, and makes those people into terrified little children There is not a lot to respect there.

I dont come on the board and recommend ministers. He certainly would not be up there telling people that he knows what television shows that God finds evil.

Thats evangelizing and conversion. Which is where you get problems in these threads. This thread is nothing more or less than the OP preaching instead of discussing.

That's false and Joel Osteen preaches the very gutless gospel Washer preaches against in this video.

Washer is talking at a youth conference. If you think a pastor can't speak in authority that God hates South Park and a bunch of shows like that then you are of no understanding.

So where in the Bible is South Park mentioned? And where does anyone get the authority to know Gods mind on such things?

I'm not going to stick around and post 100 times like usual. I'm just gonna leave this here and those false converts he Biblically exogetes about will rail against it just like the pagans. If someone wants to come in here and try to convince me Joel Osteen is a swell guy one more time I might cry. And I am serious. This generation has been lied to, just read the Bible. It takes ten minutes to tear down Osteen's entire ministry.

When you post a sermon that accurately and Biblically explains how America has become a massive cess pool of false converts and then folks come on and say "I consider myself a Christian but this guy is an ass hat" you just have to leave the Truth and walk away I guess.
