Never draft a college QB that was at elite school surrounded by talent
Been my motto for years
Its the QB's from random schools or on teams lacking talent that do well, like RG3, Luck, Big Ben, Phil Rivers, Eli Manning, and so on
Then you have the Weinke's, Dorsey, Palmer, Sanchez, Leinart, Vince Young, Tebow among many others who dominated college ball cause they played on incredible teams
If i was a NFL GM i would never touch these types

Oh, well gosh -- After reading that knowledge, Suddenly I'd be okay with Mark Sanchez, Matt Cassell, or Carson Palmer leading my team. Funny, they all seem like bums and turnover machines, but I guess I can rest easy knowing they're better then LSU QBs?

Gotta disagree with you here. He has one of the highest completion rates in the NFL and has thrown zero picks. He's also shown an ability (which we saw in college) to use his feet to extend the play. Plus, he has Kyle Rudolph and Percy Harvin, that's your impact WR/TE right there.

Sanchez has shown he can do it, but maybe he has regressed,
or maybe he needs a change, we shall see.The 3 USC QB's who are starters in the league, have all had some decent success,
but compared to LSU Starting QB's in the NFL, they are.......
wait, there are no starting QB's from LSU in the NFL right now.
USC
Current QB's in the NFL (3 Starters, 1 Back-up)
NFL Career so far
===========================================
over 53,000 yds passing.....337 TD passes/ 248 INT
239 NFL Starts, 119 Wins, 4 playoffs wins, 3 Pro Bowls.
---------------------------------------------------------------------LSU
Current QB's in the NFL (1 Back-up)
NFL Career so far
=========================
1,015 yds, 9 TD passes / 5 INT
2 NFL Starts, 1 Win.
----------------------------------------Just for fun, the NFL's all-time Biggest flop of a #1 pick
LSU's JaMarcus Russell - Career Stats
4,083 yds, 18 TD's/ 23 INT's (7-18 record in starts)Now that's bad, really bad, just terrible.
You have to go back to Bert Jones in the 1970's, the last time an LSU
QB had Pro Bowl level success throwing his Lesticals around the NFL.This post was edited by Lesticals on 10/5/2012 at 12:34 AM
