im guessing Kiel informed staff he is headed elsewhere.. Knight decommits from Texas A&M. Knights 6'2 190 4 star dual threat kid. Held offers from LSU,Clemson & Texas A&M

Well usually they get a guy from Louisiana that LSU hasn't been recruiting, then they switch when we go after them. I will say they have done better in LA than any other school and they still have a pretty solid class this year.
It's still funny though.

Theres not one single commit on their board that was recruited by Texas. 0. They get leftovers bro. Leftovers and kids that have daddy's that went to A&M.Thats all.

Apparently Knight committed to A&M because he didn't want to wait around for an OU offer.
We got tired of waiting around on Kiel (or got the sense that it wasn't looking good for us), and told Knight here's an offer, if you commit before any other QB, you'll be the only one we take.
And given the option of that or heading to A&M, he made the obvious choice.

Conference titles maybe.Not National championships. Any kid who settles on being an Aggy at any point in time is worthless IMO. Royal is and will forever be a Longhorn.

Word is Kiel didn't tell Oklahoma they were out. The Sooner staff hadn't heard much from him, so they moved on to another good prospect. Also, don't limit Kiel to two schools. I wouldn't be surprised if other programs are still involved.

I'd say A&M got their guy in Matt Davis. He's been hitting the recruiting trail and getting the current recruits together to form a unity. Trevor was asked to get involved but didnt want to (maybe he was already decommitted in his mind). Rather have a guy 100% committed and willing to help his team before he gets there.
A&M players with UT offers - 0. Last 4 years those kids are 2-2 against UT... Keep thinking these kids arent good cause they dont get UT offer.

Kiel told OU and Mizzou they were out of the picture several weeks ago. OU got on the horn to Trevor, who had continued to express interest should they want him, to bring his folks out for a visit. Kiel is down to Indiana/Alabama. Should announce soon.
